Methodology

Volume = length × width × height, for one piece, multiplied by the number of pieces. Volumetric weight = volume in cubic centimetres ÷ the carrier's dimensional divisor. Chargeable weight = whichever is greater, volumetric weight or actual gross weight. The divisor is carrier-specific and must come from your carrier's published terms; this model does not supply one. Excluded: pallet and packaging tare beyond what you enter, per-piece rounding rules, minimum chargeable weights, and shipment-level consolidation effects. You supply every input: this site holds no live freight rates, transit times, or duty tables, and never estimates them for you.
